Setting up a home gym

Setting up your home gym may not be as daunting as you'd think. Although the initial cost at first may seem high you'll be surprised how soon you'll see a return on your investment. There are also many other benefits setting up your own gym such as being able to workout at any time of the day.

There are two main types of equipment; each to suit a particular need. Cardio Equipment includes items such as treadmillspower plates and rowers. These improve cardiovascular health and general fitness and are commonly used to assist with weight loss. The other main type of equipment is Resistance Equipment which includes items such as multigyms, free weights (barbells and dumbbells) and benches. The main purpose is to use resistance equipment to build and maintain muscle mass and well as general body conditioning / toning.
